We are seeking a highly strategic, commercially minded, and technically savvy Associate Account Director to oversee a premier portfolio of our most valuable brand-direct accounts. This role is designed for a senior client services professional who thrives on strategic partnership, executional excellence, and solving complex business challenges. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor who can influence senior stakeholders, drive client success, and identify opportunities to grow long-term partnerships.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING1. Strategic Client Partnership & Executional Excellence- Executive-Level Advisory: Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders and their partner ecosystem, translating business objectives and market insights into high-impact media strategies that drive measurable outcomes.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Build and deepen executive-level relationships, confidently navigating complex account dynamics, managing ambiguity, and resolving challenging situations with maturity, sound judgment, and strong negotiation skills.
- Executional Excellence: Lead flawless campaign execution in a fast-paced environment through exceptional project management, prioritization, and operational rigor, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
- Platform & Industry Expertise: Maintain deep hands-on expertise across platform capabilities and industry best practices, proactively identifying optimization opportunities and providing strategic recommendations to clients.
- Drive Client Growth: Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts by identifying opportunities for retention, expansion, and increased platform adoption aligned with clients' evolving business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Business Development, Trading, Measurement, and Product teams to onboard strategic customers, unlock new opportunities, and deliver integrated client solutions.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop long-term account strategies that strengthen client partnerships, increase business impact, and position The Trade Desk as a trusted strategic partner.
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- At least 8 years of experience in digital advertising client facing role, with a proven track record of growing strategic accounts and building long-term client partnerships.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and influence business outcomes.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior decision-makers.
- Hands-on expertise in programmatic advertising (DSP, SSP, DMP, MMP, Martech, etc.) or experience in brand/performance marketing within an agency or direct-to-consumer environment is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with a strong data-driven mindset and the ability to translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
