Staff Product Manager
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a Senior or Staff-level Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of The Trade Desk’s Identity products. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how advertisers reach and engage audiences across devices and channels, with a focus on identity quality, frequency management, and privacy-first innovation. This is a high-impact role with global scope, based in our Singapore office and collaborating across APAC and global teams.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a product manager on the Identity team, you will be responsible for building the vision and strategy for The Trade Desk’s Identity products that help advertisers reach and engage their audiences effectively. This work spans across Identity Quality, Frequency Management, along with other Identity features across the platform.
As a Product Manager for Identity at the Trade Desk, your responsibilities will include:
- Define the product strategy for identity quality — how we resolve people, households, and devices accurately and at scale, keeping pace with the shift toward deterministic identifiers like UID2 and privacy-first frameworks.
- Own the roadmap for cross-device, cross-channel frequency management — giving advertisers precise control over how often individuals see their ads, minimizing waste and ad fatigue.
- Close the loop between identity precision and frequency intelligence — ensuring that improvements directly sharpen capping, delivery, and performance.
- Partner with Data Science to define identity quality metrics, build models that surface quality gaps, and measure the downstream impact on platform and campaign performance.
- Drive cross-functional execution and alignment with Engineering, Data Partnerships, Legal, Privacy and Commercial teams navigating tradeoffs in scale, precision, and customer impact.
- Ship iteratively by defining success metrics, launching incrementally, measuring business impact such as advertiser and platform efficiency, and optimizing continuously.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Demonstrable ability to work well with a cross-functional team environment that includes engineers, data science, partnerships and commercial teams to develop products
- You can quickly find answers in data to iterate on the product, and solve complex technical problems with creative solutions while managing trade-offs
- 5+ years (for Senior) or 8+ years (for Staff) of Product Management experience ideally with advertising or marketing technology companies
- A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including writing detailed product specifications that clearly articulate the “why” behind the problem
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with distributed teams across time zones.
- Background in math, statistics, or data science
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis tool (Python, R, or similar) for dataset exploration and hypothesis validation
- Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies, clean rooms, and familiarity with identity frameworks
