What we do

Client Services is the central function within TTD’s commercial organization, comprising of both Account Management function: responsible for maintaining client relationships, partnering with agencies to grow existing accounts, support Business Development team in onboarding new clients, and Trading function: our platform experts responsible for training agencies and working with agencies and clients on optimizing, executing campaigns.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the development of a mix of brand direct and media agency portfolio as a senior strategic advisor, providing consultative service to key clients based on TTD's vision and values
  • Demonstrate the value of The Trade Desk by crafting strategic advice and innovative programmatic advertising solutions that meet the clients’ needs and business goals with a thorough understanding of their pain points and opportunities
  • Provide thought leadership to key client on how to best leverage The Trade Desk’s platform and integration capabilities
  • Work closely with Business Development team to cultivate key accounts and become an extension of client’s organization to solve their unique challenges through strategy and viable solutions
  • Responsible for growing book of existing business through strategic cross selling and upselling opportunities by understanding the core client business needs
  • Develop trusting and productive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Manage, motivate and empower a cross functional team to drive consistent YoY account growth, overseeing their day-to-day management, motivating the team by setting clear expectations, developing career development plans, providing constructive feedback, managing bandwidth and maintaining a high level of performance from the team, reporting progress against goals to management
  • Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with international senior leadership, product, & engineering teams
  • Communicate effectively with other functional leaders (product, marketing, support, inventory & data partnership team) by solving business challenges together, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation
  • Maintain strong cross-pod relationships to support horizonal centre of excellence across account management and traders

Who you are

  • We are looking for an highly capable individual who possesses excellent communication, strategic thinking and leadership skills to serve as a player-coach across a portfolio of key accounts. Your duties involve both managing relationships with decision makers of key clients and leading a team of Account Managers and Traders to grow our book of existing business
  • An experienced senior leader who has solid client consulting and advisory experience and is seasoned in building and nurturing strong and long-term client relationships. Proven record in producing meaningful and consistent growth of portfolio of clients.
  • Extensive experience within the digital and programmatic industry in a client focused role, preferrable at an online publisher, agency, Mar Tech, SSP, DSP, or other player within the ecosystem
  • Experience establishing longstanding and consultative client relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups
  • Repeatedly and consistently demonstrates confidence and good judgment in ambiguous situations, is experienced in solving complex problems with simple but effective solutions
  • Execute, and coach others to execute, timely in fast-paced environment through effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Passionate about team’s career and personal development
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Exemplars of TTD culture and values, teaching others how to act with grit, humility, generosity and poise
  • A proficient Mandarin and English speaker
