What we do:

The Deal Strategy & Operations team is dedicated to refining and enhancing deal development and approval processes within the organization. Our primary goal is to streamline internal deal-making processes and establish scalable deal strategies and best practices across the entire revenue organization. By providing critical insights and support, we ensure that each deal is optimized for success while maintaining efficiency and consistency in our operations.

What you’ll do:

  • As a Deal Strategy & Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's objectives through three key focus areas:
  • Deal Optimization and Strategic Consultation:
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost savings through strategic analysis.
  • Act as a strategic partner by deeply understanding the seller’s goals and challenges and using that insight to shape deal strategy and structure.
  • Collaborate closely throughout the deal cycle, offering guidance, sharing best practices, and helping sellers position deals for successful approval.
  • Drive alignment across teams by bridging gaps between sales, legal, finance, and other stakeholders, ensuring deals are both competitive and compliant.

Owning Deal Approval Processes:

  • Coordinate approval requests efficiently by proactively managing timelines and ensuring stakeholders are engaged early, minimizing delays and bottlenecks.
  • Streamline the approval flow by introducing predefined paths for standard or low-risk deals, allowing for quicker turnaround and reducing unnecessary escalations.
  • Create clear, accessible resources such as playbooks or templates that define how deals should be structured and presented, ensuring consistency and alignment with business expectations.
  • Automating Deal Making Processes:
  • Project-manage the design and implementation of automated solutions to streamline the entire deal-making process.
  • Standardize deal workflows and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability.

Who you are:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in business operations. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
  • Professional Experience: 6+ years of professional experience, and a bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or relevant substitute experience
  • Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, propose solutions, and drive execution in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to Manage Ambiguity: Comfortable navigating uncertainty and making informed decisions with limited information.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects with differing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong Excel and Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and creating meaningful reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborative and Communicative: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Continuous Learner: Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and methodologies.
