The Editor of Product Marketing Content reports to the Editorial Director of The Resource Desk, The Trade Desk’s global content marketing platform. This role exists to expand and operationalize product-focused and client success content for a range of audiences while managing updates to existing content and resources.

You’ll be the connective tissue between Product Marketing priorities and editorial execution—helping us tell clearer, sharper stories about what our products enable, why they matter, and how customers and partners use them to drive results. The ideal candidate blends a product marketer’s strategic mindset with an editor’s judgement, and a producer’s ability to move multiple work streams forward—fast, collaboratively, and at a high bar.

Importantly, this role also adds critical capacity—allowing the broader team to focus on GTM alignment, cross-regional content development, multimedia expansion, and commercial engagement.

What you’ll do:

  • Support product-focused content production for new and existing products across The Trade Desk’s suite of buy- and partner-side offerings.
  • Expand content programming for new and growing partner audiences.
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Editorial, Creative, Communications, Education, and Commercial teams to translate product priorities into clear, compelling external narratives.
  • Own workflows for product marketing content—from intake and prioritization through production, approvals, and distribution.
  • Contribute to case study production to help showcase client success and support commercial teams.
  • Serve as a writer and editor as needed, shaping product stories across articles, launch narratives, explainers, sales enablement-style assets, and multimedia content.
  • Use performance insights and analytics to refine content strategy and improve impact over time.

Who you are:

  • A strong product marketing storyteller who can simplify complex capabilities and clearly articulate why they matter to a range of audiences.
  • An editor with excellent writing instincts and a high bar for clarity, usefulness, and narrative quality.
  • A highly organized project manager who can run multiple workstreams and build processes that scale.
  • A collaborative business partner who can influence without authority and work effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities and ambitious goals.
  • Experienced in content development across formats (articles, scripts, sales material, toolkits), with an interest in multimedia collaboration.
  • Background in product marketing, content marketing, journalism, or branded content; ad tech or marketing tech experience strongly preferred. #LI-LM2
