WHO YOU ARE:
- 3-5 years Corporate Credit and Collections experience.
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements, ratio analysis and various credit reporting agencies.
- Knowledge of Basic Accounting and Collections procedures
- Accounts Receivable knowledge/experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Strong work ethic and self-discipline.
- Experience with Oracle, GetPaid and Salesforce an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables) required.
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence to challenge and influence commercial teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, international, and matrixed organization

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Daily reporting and analysis of existing credit to ensure clients can spend within department risk assessments.
- Analyze prospective clients using financial analysis techniques, including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow measurements as well as industry factors and trade references.
- Perform annual credit analysis on existing clients through payment history, credit reports, and EDGAR financial data.
- Independently approve, recommend, and apply credit limits to the accounts, escalating higher-risk decisions as required.
- Prepare and present credit risk metrics and insights to senior stakeholders, including exposure, overdue trends, and risk developments
- Determine alternate methods of credit analysis when prospective clients do not meet minimum standards for approval.
- Negotiate with internal stakeholders and clients commercially viable solutions when credit checks do not meet standard approval criteria, while ensuring alignment with company risk appetite
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality support of our customers.
- Meet with insolvency practitioners, file proof of debts and keep records of insolvencies.
- Aide in developing and maintaining departmental training materials.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of credit policies, onboarding processes, training materials and automation tools.
- Establish training sessions for cross-functional departments to create efficiencies with teams interacting with credit.
- Team representative in various ongoing projects including GetPaid user acceptance testing and Service now transition project team representative.
- Actively contributing to credit risk forums and sharing the best practices with the global credit team.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clear rationale for credit decisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX (if applicable), and local regulatory requirements
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.
