As a Senior Sourcing Recruiter focused on Corporate Functions, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how we hire the exceptional talent that drives our Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR/People teams.
In this role, you’ll lead top-of-funnel efforts to identify and engage senior-level corporate professionals, owning sourcing strategy, market intelligence, and proactive outreach. Your work will have a direct impact on how the company grows and scales for the future - helping us attract the people who will define the next chapter of The Trade Desk.
You’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership to design creative sourcing plans, elevate the candidate experience, and improve hiring efficiency across the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Creatively source and engage top corporate talent, with a focus on senior-level professionals across Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR/People teams
- Leverage your network and market knowledge to identify and connect with passive candidates, particularly in competitive or specialized talent markets
- Become an expert in positioning our mission, culture, and business challenges to attract high-caliber corporate talent
- Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand role requirements and long-term talent needs
- Track pipeline health and performance metrics, sharing data-driven insights to improve sourcing strategies, speed, and conversion rates
- Develop tailored sourcing strategies by function, level, and geography using a mix of creative and traditional methods (Boolean searches, events, referrals, market mapping, etc.)
- Act as a subject matter expert for corporate talent landscapes, continuously mapping competitors and staying current on talent trends across Marketing, Finance, Legal, and HR
- Adapt quickly to shifting hiring priorities, demonstrating flexibility in strategy and execution
- Identify and drive operational improvements to streamline workflows, enhance sourcing tools, and scale best practices across the team
- Step in to support full-cycle recruiting efforts during peak periods or team bandwidth gaps (e.g., closing, offer extension)
What you are:
- 6+ years of experience in sourcing or full-cycle recruiting within AdTech, Programmatic, Technology, or other fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Proven experience sourcing or recruiting for Corporate Functions roles (Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR/People)
- Skilled in both creative sourcing techniques and building relationships with passive, hard-to-reach talent
- Strong understanding of corporate function talent landscapes, including key skill sets, market dynamics, and competitive hiring trends
- Ability to quickly ramp on new business areas and translate role requirements into effective sourcing strategies
- Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to prioritize across multiple searches
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on execution and results
- Up-to-date knowledge of recruiting trends, tools, and best practices
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information (especially for Legal, HR, and Finance roles)
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience and building meaningful relationships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, trusted partnerships with hiring leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Collaborative team player who shares accountability, gives and receives feedback, and contributes to team success
CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC residents only: In accordance with CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.
