We’re looking for an Associate Trading Director to join our growing team in the Netherlands. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded trading specialist to play a key role in a fast-growing market and potentially grow into a leadership position.

About the Role
In the short term, the role would be focused on core trading support - platform training, troubleshooting, product updates, deal setup, QBRs and working strategically with our clients. But importantly, this person should also have the ambition and capability to grow into a leadership position, knowing that our success in the Netherlands could open future opportunities to build and manage a team.

What you'll do:

  • Handles the day-to-day trading efforts for a portfolio of accounts
  • Owns accounts independently and recognises opportunities to grow accounts; playing a key role in identifying and prioritising client needs 
  • Develop areas of expertise in product offerings and acts as an internal resource for the internal business team 
  • Oversee client relationships as a strategic advisor for all things Trading, guiding problem-solving discussions and providing best-in-class client services.
  • Demonstrate the value of The Trade Desk to clients by providing innovative solutions that meet the clients’ needs and our business goals.
  • Develop trusting and productive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Communicates complex concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner, across audiences with varying levels of expertise.

Who you are:

You are an effective client-facing leader who is skilled in building and nurturing client relationships while also leading an agile team and developing talent. We are looking for an individual possessing excellent communication, strategic and leadership skills to serve as a player-coach across a portfolio of accounts.

  • 7+ years experience within programmatic advertising and experience with TTD's platform or similar is a bonus
  • Experience in developing, nurturing and managing client relationships
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Ambition to develop personally and nurture the development of others
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Love to problem-solve, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment 
  • Strong quantitative skills coupled with real passion for mining insights from very large datasets  and Excel
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
