Job Title: Front-End Engineer II

*Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from The Trade Desk, Inc. office in Bellevue, WA.

Job Duties: Develop, enhance, optimize, and maintain high-performance user interfaces using React for client applications. Build and support backend services in C# .NET for API integrations and distributed processing. Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, product, and backend teams to define and deliver robust solutions. Establish automated testing to ensure code quality and rapid deployment cycles. Monitor health dashboards and slack channels to quickly respond to any issues impacting customers. Participate in agile, distributed team processes, ensuring effective communication across multiple time zones. Leverage data to analyze opportunities and communicate the impact of work on operational efficiency. Review code from peers and grow others through example, mentorship, and teaching. Enforce front-end coding standards and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency across all projects. Proactively research emerging web development and security trends to keep TTD’s technology stack competitive, efficient, and secure.

Salary: $151,400 - $227,000/year

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have one (1) year of experience with: software development; software code review; HTML5/CSS3 development; and Javascript.

CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC residents only: In accordance with CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $151,400—$227,000 USD
