From company-wide events to leadership team offsites, the internal events team ensures every experience reflects who we are and inspires engagement across the company.

What you'll do:

Operations & Production

  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of The Trade Desk’s global internal events, including its flagship multi-day, multi-session all-employee event.
  • Oversee complex event operations — managing budgets, timelines, creative development, main stage production, multiple breakouts, on-site staffing and vendor relationships with precision and creativity to ensure every detail is executed flawlessly.
  • Project manage external agencies and production teams to bring event experiences to life through thoughtful design, world-class production, and seamless logistics.
  • Extensive experience with negotiating contracts with city tourism boards, local DMCs, convention centers, large room blocks and unionized venues.
  • Oversee and manage building custom registration sites and an Event App that captures travel requirements and customized scheduling.
  • Travel globally to lead on-site execution, manage teams and partners, and represent The Trade Desk with professionalism and authenticity.

Executive Management

  • Collaborate closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to shape event objectives, content, and storytelling that reflect our vision, values, and voice.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations, creative direction, and calm problem-solving under pressure.
  • Maintain clear communications with internal and external stakeholders by developing concise and detailed briefs and providing regular updates on planning progress.

Content & Programming

  • Build compelling content and programming, working with internal stakeholders and speakers to craft narratives that inspire, educate, and spark conversation.
  • Use data and feedback to measure success, evaluate ROI, and continually evolve how we show up as a brand through live and digital experiences.
  • Develop and scale event programs that deepen relationships with partners and employees — ensuring every touchpoint feels personal, relevant, and meaningful.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in experiential marketing, technology, and event innovation to keep The Trade Desk’s presence fresh, forward-thinking, and differentiated.

Who you are:

  • You bring 15+ years of experience leading large-scale multi-day global events and experiences that bring brands and communities together — across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
  • You’re both a strategic thinker and hands-on operator — equally comfortable shaping event strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to deliver flawless execution.
  • You know how to tell a brand story through experience — designing programs that build connections, inspire engagement, and deliver measurable business impact.
  • You’re a trusted partner who collaborates naturally with senior leaders, regional teams, and cross-functional partners to align on goals and make things happen.
  • You lead with influence and empathy, and while this is primarily an individual contributor role today, you’re excited by the opportunity to mentor and grow a small team in the near future.
  • You take a data-informed approach, using insights and feedback to evolve strategy, measure impact, and continuously improve.
  • You’re organized, curious, and calm under pressure, thriving in an environment where priorities shift and no two days look the same.
  • You’re ready and willing to travel globally to oversee events, connect with teams, and represent The Trade Desk at key industry moments
