WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for someone to provide contracts management and operational support to a legal department of 40+ lawyers and other professionals. This role will provide support with contract management, workflow coordination, legal technology initiatives, and a variety of other projects. Success in this role will require strong working relationships with professionals within the legal team and around the company to provide high quality, cross-functional legal support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Serve as the first point of contact for inbound contract requests, while ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper routing to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, MSAs, Consulting Agreements, Order Forms, etc.), while working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely execution, risk mitigation, and smooth collaboration across functions and regions.
- Contribute to team operations by assisting with contract management and supporting internal training and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for business stakeholders, keeping them informed on contract status, clarifying procedures, and driving smooth, proactive collaboration with Legal.
- Help build and scale the Contracts Management function by partnering with team members to develop playbooks, improve workflows, and support adoption of contract management technology and resources.
- Apply strong drafting skills to create, revise, and adapt agreements independently, ensuring clarity, precision, and alignment with company policies and commercial objectives.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Proven experience in contracts management, with a proven track record of independently drafting, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all contracts and processes.
- Exercise sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently while knowing when to escalate.
- Skilled in navigating diverse agreement types and ensuring compliance with contracting policies and procedures.
- Quick to learn and adaptable, able to work seamlessly across a wide range of corporate functions.
- Strong communicator with excellent listening, verbal, and written skills that build clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
- Comfortable leveraging legal technology solutions, including CLM platforms, to drive efficiency and scale.
- Proven collaborator who builds trust with internal and external partners and drives smooth cross-functional engagement.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments, successfully balancing high volumes of work with competing deadlines.
- Passionate about legal discourse and risk mitigation, applying core legal principles to deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.
