What we do:

We are growing, we are scaling, and we need your help to create proactive and passive pipelines of incredible talent. As a Senior Sourcing Recruiter focused on Go-To-Market roles, you’ll lead top-of-funnel efforts for building high-impact commercial teams. You’ll own sourcing strategy, talent market intelligence, and proactive outreach for senior-level sales and business development talent across the ad tech and media landscape.

You’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership to design creative sourcing plans, improve hiring efficiency, and elevate the candidate experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Creatively source and connect with top go-to-market talent, with a focus on senior-level sales and business development professionals in the ad tech and digital media space
  • Leverage your network and market knowledge to identify and engage passive talent, particularly in high-growth or competitive environments
  • Become an expert in positioning our mission, team culture, and commercial challenges to excite top talent
  • Partner with recruiters, candidate experience partners, and hiring managers to understand role requirements and talent impact
  • Track pipeline metrics and share insights to improve strategy, velocity, and conversion
  • Create tailored sourcing strategies by role, level, and geography using creative and traditional methods: Boolean searches, events, referrals, market mapping, and more
  • Act as a go-to market expert for GTM talent, continuously mapping competitors, reading the industry, and staying current on key players
  • Flex strategy and pivot quickly in response to hiring shifts or changing priorities
  • Support operational improvements and drive process excellence by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance sourcing tools, and scale best practices across the team
  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts during peak hiring periods or team absences (e.g., offer extension, closing, etc.)

What you are:

  • Previous sourcing experience with a focus on Go-to-Market, sales and business development roles 
  • 5+ years in a similar role sourcing or full cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment 
  • Equipped with both creative sourcing techniques as well as a proven track record of engaging talent and hiring for hard to fill roles 
  • Ability to understand AdTech and/or the commercial world of digital media 
  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to prioritize 
  • A positive attitude with a dedication to problem solving and delivery 
  • Solid knowledge of current trends, innovations and standard methodologies within recruiting 
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information 
  • Passionate about people and an impulsive instinct to help others, go above and beyond, and think ahead 
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; share responsibility for results, provide and accept feedback

CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC residents only: In accordance with CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $85,300—$156,400 USD
