General Manager, North Asia (Outbound)
What we do
We are looking for a strong business leader to lead our fast-growing outbound business for North Asia. You will be responsible to formulate our business strategy and drive growth, without compromising on innovation or our Company culture. This person will also have the proven ability to partner with cross functional teams in each region and globally, and stretch themselves to achieve ever greater goals.
The person is a strategic business leader – with a strong ability to identify and execute on growth opportunities, to shape and influence how the markets think about our industry and company and can foster the most senior, strategic relationships in the respective regions. This person will be motivated by a desire to make advertising work better for brands, publishers and consumers when brands expand globally.
They must have a high aptitude for and comfort level with working in complex business and technology environments along with a strong leadership and business acumen.
What you’ll do
- Will be the lead to help brands going outbound from North Asia
- Develops and presents strategic and plans to achieve revenue goals. Lead an effective sales activation strategy
- Strong cultural leadership working across regions and teams.
- Collaborate with other functional leaders to identify growth opportunities, solve business challenges and drive efficiency across the organization
- Strong contributor and driver in creating an environment that inspires the Sales organization to perform effectively and efficiently.
- Be a representative for TTD panels are various industry events and conferences
- Contributes meaningfully and regularly to emerging product gaps through spend blocker contributions.
- Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering
Who you are
- 10 years + of experience in online advertising with experience in outbound sales. At least 5 years in a team management capacity
- Proven track record of working within the North Asia region and strong relationships in the regional markets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak to C-Level clients and establish client relationships
- Proven track record of driving market development strategies and exceeding revenue expectations trough a history of sales leading experience
- Strong management and leadership skills through a collaborative team approach.
- Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles.
- Ability to navigate difficult and ambiguous situations and inspires others to positivity
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups.
- Execute (and coach others to execute) timely in fast-paced environment through effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
