Who We Are Looking For:
We are currently looking for a Principal Executive Sourcer who thrives on building connections, is motivated by the challenge of identifying top executive talent and enjoys collaborating with a team dedicated to achieving shared goals. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Talent Advisor with a proven ability to leverage innovative strategies to develop a strong, scalable talent pipeline for a global organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage sourcing efforts for executive searches at the VP level and above, focusing on identifying and engaging top-tier talent to ensure successful outcomes.
- Design and implement innovative search strategies to attract top-tier talent.
- Conduct competitive intelligence to understand the talent landscape and identify top performers at competitor organizations.
- Build and maintain a diverse talent pipeline of high-potential candidates for current and future executive roles.
- Immerse yourself in and champion the culture of The Trade Desk, ensuring alignment throughout the hiring process.
- Act as a trusted talent advisor and expert in interviewing techniques, committed to training and empowering business teams for streamlined and effective processes.
- Lead efforts to refine, support, and optimize recruiting processes and tools, maintaining consistency and best practices.
- Leverage both traditional and emerging channels to enhance the diversity of candidate pools.
- Develop and implement employer branding strategies to attract top executive talent to The Trade Desk.
- Stay ahead of industry and talent trends to inform and adapt recruitment strategies for organizational impact.
Who You Are:
- 12+ years of progressive experience in executive search, including in-house leadership sourcing and recruiting within competitive and complex markets.
- Proven expertise as a trusted talent advisor, including developing hiring manager skills and guiding internal teams on effective hiring strategies.
- Skilled in influencing and advising executive leadership to drive strategic talent decisions.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring passive candidates.
- Adept at communicating The Trade Desk's value proposition and unique story to prospective candidates.
- Experience in recruiting for high-tech environments is highly desirable.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence (EQ) and strong interpersonal skills.
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced, and autonomous work settings.
- Highly self-motivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious goals.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $136,300—$249,900 USD
