Who you are:
As our business and platform continue to grow rapidly, we are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled Director, Revenue Operations for Asia-Pacific (APAC) to oversee the delivery of revenue-driving initiatives across Business Development, Client Servies (CS), and BD Advertiser. The Revenue Operations department is pivotal in driving commercial priorities, scaling processes through continuous improvement and innovation, and ensuring operational excellence.
In this role, you will be a key member of the Regional Revenue Operations team, responsible for supporting the regional implementation of global initiatives, developing localized best practices, acting as a strategic thought partner to APAC BD/CS leadership, and ensuring seamless communication across markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both regional and global teams to achieve successful execution in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to navigate a diverse and complex region and continuously refine operational strategies will be crucial. You thrive in ambiguity and driving forward solutions.
Success in this role will be defined by your ability to strategically anticipate the evolving needs of commercial leadership, proactively drive high-impact initiatives with autonomy, and consistently deliver transformative operational solutions that align to both the broader objectives of your regional stakeholders and to the global initiatives that they must align to.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the strategic operations lead for the commercial team in APAC, influencing through actions and results rather than authority.
- Operate in a player-coach capacity, balancing individual contributions with mentoring a small team, with the potential to lead and scale the team as the business grows.
- Act as a main point of contact for all APAC operational aspects within the commercial team, ensuring smooth and effective operations.
- Collaborate deeply to ensure cohesive execution of strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Commercial and Sales Training, Sales Strategy, Product, Finance, and Legal to support the commercial organization.
- Anticipate leadership needs and autonomously drive initiatives that align with commercial priorities.
- Develop and implement localized best practices that align with global initiatives, ensuring they are effectively communicated and adopted across markets.
- Manage multiple interconnected initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and meet strategic objectives.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Takes a customer first approach and leads any change management efforts related to process/system improvements and organizational restructuring to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new practices
- Serve as the voice of the APAC commercial teams needs in the development of global process and tooling
What you bring to the table:
- 10+ years of proven experience in a sales or client services strategy & operations function, with programmatic or advertising experience being a plus.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a player-coach role with direct team management and mentorship responsibilities.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong technical and operational aptitude with the ability to manage complex projects and processes.
- Passion for understanding and adapting to local cultures and work practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and senior leadership through results-driven actions rather than formal authority.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with VP-level leaders and above., and drive consensus with multiple stakeholders across complex issues.
- Analytical mindset with experience in creating strategic plans, setting success metrics/goals, and adapting them based on performance.
